Returns & Exchanges
If you bought something from us and:
- It doesn’t fit
- It wasn’t what you imagined
- You were drunk when you bought it
…or you aren’t happy for any other reason, then just send it back to us and we will happily swap it for something else, or give you store credit. Just make sure it complies with our conditions for returns and exchanges below, especially that the item is in brand new condition with all tags attached.
Please note: this does not apply to sale items, which cannot be exchanged or refunded unless they are faulty.
If a product is faulty, Elephant Stripes will gladly replace it. Please let us know within 14 working days of receiving your goods. If the product has been damaged in transit, please advise us immediately so we can organise a replacement. It’s helpful to attach some photos. We will liaise directly with the courier company to settle any claims.
We only offer refunds in the case of faulty items. If you have changed your mind, you may exchange the item or we offer store vouchers of the same value as the item.
Conditions for returns and exchanges:
- You must email us at info@elephantstripes.co.nz within 14 days of receiving your purchase. Please advise what you want to exchange your item for and we will check availability.
- There must not be any marks or stains on the products. Especially take care of make-up when trying on clothes.
- All original tags must be still on the product.
- Except for faulty items, Elephant Stripes is not responsible for postage costs of the return. If you are exchanging an item for another one, the new item will be shipped back to you for free (except for check-in suitcases).
- Please notify us as soon as possible about any fault and we will arrange to have it returned. Once we receive the item we will repair, replace or refund the item within 10 working days. We will cover the cost of the return and shipping of the replacement.
- SALE ITEMS ARE NOT ABLE TO BE EXCHANGED OR REFUNDED. Please choose carefully for sale items and look at our sizing guide to ensure you buy the right fit for you.
- Of course if a sale item is faulty we will gladly replace it or refund your money if the item is no longer available.
- We recommend you use a traceable delivery method to return the item to us. We hold no responsibility for any loss or damage to parcels being returned to us.
- If you changed your mind and no longer want the item, you can return it and we will give you a store voucher or you can exchange it for another item.
- If you wish to exchange it for another item that is of a higher value than the original item, you will need to pay the difference. If you wish to exchange it for another item that is of a lower value than the original item we will issue you with a store voucher for the difference.
If the item does not satisfy the above Conditions of Return, it will not be accepted and will be returned to the customer
